Currys have a 10% discount code when purchasing two large appliances.

I'm buying a tumble dryer, anyone want to team up to avail of the discount?

    Closest Currys is Carrickmines

I believe you can buy something very very cheap as the second item. I remember it worked with cheap toasters before.

May not still be the case.

Pity their delivery fees are crazy high.

Cheapest thing I've found that works with the code is an integrated extractor fan for €59.

Exactly the reason I never buy from them…then they also charge installation cost

€35 to deliver a tumble dryer doesn't seem extortionate to me. Though it is higher than DID (€30) and Power City (€25) but I can't find a better priced/spec tumble dryer anywhere else.

and their after sales service is non-existent.

But if you really want to buy from currys and get a product that will not cause issues (in fairness, most products will work for years without issue) then simply ask them to apply the discount or you'll head to Harvey Norman & Power city for something similar.

They reject it initially and try and get you to buy something else, but head towards the door and they'll likely change their mind.

But I suspect something similar will be cheaper in power city
