hi All hope all is well.

Anyone know any good place online or in person to learn to repair radio transmitter units. ( internal components)

use them as radio mesh alarm fire and intruder units, takes too long and too expensive to send back to supplier in US.

    appreciate any advice please?

    Dublin or surrounding area

    thank you

I tried searching online, youtube.com, hard to find video/course online or in person to attend to part-time on specific radio transceiver repairing. Basically need to know how to fix the following:

    1. power amplifiier (pa ) issues/fault - which are bulk of the faults as found out rubber duck antennae causing pa issues, looking to find a comparable 3db antennae instead.
    2. vco faults
    3. no tx , no rx
    4. tx stuck in low power
    5. voltage /switch issues
    6. modulation faults..

logic boards on the units tend to be generally good, no faults found, main faults internally are on RF board level- soldering faults etc…( can find something online to learn soldering)

appreciate any advice please - see hi-tech do electronic course dont know if cover radio unit repair?

    Thank you..
