microsoft TERMINATED my CSP 365 partner account !!!

    Hello Gents,

    Just discovered that apparently microsoft suspended and terminated my partnership reseller CSP account with Microsoft.

    I have no access to licenses and all my customers were informed of the termination !

    I'm in "green check mark" and validate as valid business on my Partner Portal, was reseller for more than 8 (eight) years,over 1,500 end users and all our invoices paid up front each and every month since day one!

    Opened a support ticket with the Partner Centre, got back a standard reply via email which stated they do not have to give any reasons why, just a 30 days notice that relationship will be terminated without any right to appeal or checks why .

    Been a microsoft advocate for more than 25 years,i always promoted their solutions against others…but i never seen this happening.

    Today working hard to transfer all business data from M365 to another provider and / or locally,just in case they throw us out or our account !

    Read in many sources about the possibility / risks of closing / restricting access to a cloud provider from US of A but never ever i tought i will be one of them alongside with "possible" another thousands users…

    Lesson learned…

    Just feel like i owe you an update !

    So, Microsoft "internal team" aka AI aka CoPilot have,for past few months,checked and validated each and every CSP and indirect reseller accounts.

    Spoke with two CSPs and they confirmed that MS USA offices are closing / terminating accounts without any feelings,without any explanation,without any justification,logic or intelligence. Alongside could be a ten years reseller or a fresher.There are lots of topics on Reddit with people/VARs/CSP/Consultants reporting same issue:straight termination ! Our business is green checks,approved,validated and accepted but suspended from accessing any of the licensing financial data from the M365 CSP market. Opened many support tickets with MS but all went quiet,with scheduled and all confirmed Teams meeting going off black pitch blank or cancelled from their end without any replies.

    Apparently,work on the street on Reddit is that MS wants to remove the "middle man" and get end-users already boarded by resellers to deal and pay DIRECT to Microsoft themselves ! Reason:improve the quality of technical support ! Ahhahaa…i just could not believe it.

    Anyway,MS informed each and every of my tenants that the Partnership relation has been terminated and the customer MUST chose a new partner from the list.So,they are dealing with my appeal while they are working direct with my customers telling them to drop me off.Now,my question is: if the customer decides to switch partner for M365,why will they keep us as an ICT Consultancy company / supplier ??

    I'm thinking to speed up the process here ! By buying two of those pop-up roller banner,apply a nice design like "Microsoft USA terminated my Office 365 access", attach most of the emails exchanged with their support,feedback and replies from two CSPs and the official business financial and CRO & Revenue papers. With the banners,just have a nice breakfast in front of the Microsoft HQ in Stillorgan,on a sunny day after 9ish,when traffic is calmer. Let's see if the appearance may trigger a faster response from the CoPilot's AI engine(s) !?

    Another update:

    We got a termination email back in may but went treated as spam as never thought that is an original official termination email from big Microsoft . Basically,their AI were looking at each and every piece of information that i had on the Partner Portal: names,address,charges,emails,IDs and so on.

    After closure,opened a support ticket on th ePortal and sent them all of my business legal official revenue, postal address, letters,invoices for licenses own consumption and invoices from CSP charged against the tenants IDs. My CSP advised me to review LinkedIn,website,social media,all to be up to date, correct and clear and legal.

    After a week of waiting, they asked just this morning for confirmation of "own consumption" versus "reseller licences". We have our own charged and paid from company card versus the CSP/Reseller paid monthly via EFT/Direct Debit,as we signed-up first for our company back years ago and then we got the CSP reseller agreement. Apparently,they changed something in March and you need to have minimum certain conditions such as don't use the reseller prices for own consumption,minim €1k and some other fancy things.Once you ended up in their scanners, they are not going to ask you rectify the issue(s) but their stupid AI just goes straight in to "30 days notice termination mode" !

    Do your home work until they contact you AND keep an eye on the Partner Portal,make sure is green mark,validated,certified and matches "like for like" all of the business records !

    Get in touch with your CSP today (i really want to say a BIG thanks to WestCoast and MWH lads for their assistance ) and make sure your records with them matches what you have on the Partner Portal and on the registered business .

    AVOID the emails that went to my tenants,scarry message and triggered meetings and possible threats of dropping your business as an ICT support provider because of some AI !

    The CSP cannot do anything, MWH forwarded my "feelings" to MS. Mine is WC .They are outside the decision parameters as well, as MS AI decides and then informs the reseller and then only CSP finds out.

    Just working on the VistaPrint a nice design with two rollable banners,planning a visit to Microsoft in Leopardstown this week.Just there at the entrance,so the humans can see me and inform the master AI across the waters.

    Just an update and reminder to all of you that are in same shityuation…contact your CSP and deal before the magic hand of the Copilot terminates your account.

    Here is the reply from MS:

    Hello ,

     

    As per information received basically the customer needs to find another indirect reseller and their distributor can help the customer in finding the same. Distributor should not invoice you and instead invoice the new partner to whom the customers will connect with next.

     

    As informed, in case there is any payment due, then we will accept the payment and apply it on account to clear the past due for WO process recovery. However, even after the payment of your past/overdue invoices, the account cannot be reinstated anymore as it has already been processed.

     

    For re-enrolling in CSP you will need to create a new tenant for the same region and enroll into CSP as an Indirect reseller, then establish relationships with your customers again. Please refer to the below article for creating a tenant and for CSP enrollment:
