    Hi Lads,

I have a HKC 10270 in my house. I have acquired a second hand HKC 1070 c/w keypad and sensors which I was hoping to use for my garage.

I have a CAT6 going between old panel and new one.

Also I have Engineers code for both of the panels.

Ideally I would like to have the garage panel communicating with the house panel as I have the app monitoring this.

Looking for options in terms of how the garage panel should be setup or could be setup as a slave unit as such.

I have looked through the manual but nothing stands out to me how to enable this fuctionality.

    Any help greatly appreciated

Control panels are not designed to be connected to each other.

If you want to go the wired route what you need is a wired expander which you can wire those extra devices in your garage to.

Have to agree with kub, expander and keypad wired back to the house, maybe add an extra PSU to the garage.

Sell the second control panel on adverts

Ya thanks lads gonna head down the expander route make the most sense have one ordered up there now.

In terms of operation how does the expander get treated is it possible for the following.

Have different arming codes for expander and main house ?

Is it possible to to have the house armed and not the garage / expander ?
