so i have been out of work for 5 months and have been offered 2 jobs in my late 50s

    1. I would be a great fit for but its a long commute 50mins each way peak hour traffic 34k a year mon-fri
    2. not sure if i really want the 2nd job as customer support in a waste management company 30mins commute each way but just got a really bad vibe from the place 29500k a year mon-fri

Maybe I should continue to look for something that will make me happy but jobs in the town i live in are rare

    feeling very anxious about everything

    appreciate any feedback

Take Job 1. Extra hour a day but you felt a better vibe. Keep looking, its easier to get a job when you have a job.

I agree with the previous poster.
Sounds like a job you would be much happier with. Best of luck!

Trust your gut OP. You don't have to stay in the job forever if you get sick of the commute.

Have rejected job 2 but not really sure I have done the right thing, my gut feeling is that I have done right.

    God I am so anxious
