Hey everyone! We’re a family planning to buy a home in Waterford, and we’d love your advice. Our kids are between 6 and 16 years old, so we’re looking for a place that offers great safety, schools, and family-friendly amenities.

We’re currently considering Woodbrook, Gracedieu, or Brookfield —but before we make a decision, we’d love to hear from you:

    • Which area would you say is the best for families?
    • Where can we find the best parks, activities, and schools for kids and teens?
    • Are there any local insights that we should know before making our choice?

Please share your thoughts in the comments! 😊🏡

There was a couple of threads talking about gracedieu/carrickpherish road that got closed in the past, these are 2 that I dug up quickly (theres a lot more relevant chat in the second link but the link gets auto formatted that way)

Woodbrook is carrickpherish road… brookfield is bilberry… both are situated directly next to picturesque halting sites if you are into that sort of thing.

I lived around the corner in Gracedieu for a while (carraig heights / carnglas) and that was fine. Just enough outside of the firing line and fairly close to town.
