    Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you could give me a hand, point me in the right direction. I'm looking to purchase one of those all in one retro games console things that has all my old favorite Mega Drive and Super Nintendo games. By any chance would you be able to recommend me one that isn't completely awful? Thank you in advance for your help.

    "…that isn't completely awful"

That's the catcher. By all accounts, they're all awful. Online recommendations seem to be to get an old pc or Raspberry Pi and make your own. Which is either easy if you know what you're doing, or not. There's a good few videos on AdTube of people reviewing them, but can they be trusted? Probably not. If you like Linus Tech Tips, he reviewed 6 of them about a year ago:

If you're okay with a handheld check out the new Retroid Pocket flip 2, it's really cool.

You can also get docks for a lot of the Retroid stuff, so you can play them on the TV as well.

    Cheap enough too.

You have a few different options to be honest:

Handheld: Cheap and Cheerful I would go with the Game Console R36S on Aliexpress for around 30 euro delivered, its a nice little handheld machine.

If you want something that connects to your TV and have an arcade feel to it I would go with a Pandora Fight Stick setup:

I'd recommend against a fight stick set up as you really need good quality parts. Recently bought a 8bit do stick which would be considered quite good and I thought I'd lost all my fighting game skills until I replaced all the parts and it's much better now.

Get something compatible with the 8bit do M30s. Much better and enough buttons for arcade games.
