What's the point in offering feedback?

The last few days has seen a thread purportedly to discuss moderation of trans issues on boards, which wasn't moderated, so it led to the usual pro/anti-trans rhetoric and people steering the thread wildly off course.

This was closed by an admin with the following post:

No reference to any of the suggestions made, no pithy, "thanks for the feedback, we take it all on board" just a snidey, "Go enjoy your bank holiday or something".

I had been fighting all morning to try and get the discussion going, instead some posters were refusing to answer the topic at hand and derail the thread further.

Now, I'm sure this thread won't last a day as admin on this site do not enjoy being challenged at all, which is a shame as they used to be able to stand by and defend their decisions.

What is the point in having this feedback forum IF admin aren't taking ANY of the feedback on board, nor moderating the threads here, or even engaging?

We all know boards is going down the swanny, but still I'd rather hope it has a sltiny bit of a fighting chance to succeed.

    TO BE CLEAR:

I AM NOT REOPENING THE AFOREMENTIONED THREAD.

TRANS ISSUES DON'T BELONG IN THIS THREAD.

THIS IS ABOUT THE OPERATION OF THE FEEDBACK FORUM IN AND OF ITSELF.

Not everyone has as much free time as you or the other good folks posting on that thread. Get over yourself.

Don't start another thread(same goes for anyone else.).
