Hi everyone, I am looking to install a CD car radio in my 1962 Renault 4 along with speakers, and was hoping that this would be the place to find someone who could help me do it along with the cabling or if you have suggestions about places in Dublin city where they do such job? I am based in Dublin City Centre and would need it install by the end of June/early July. There is no radio holder in the car and not looking to install one, it would be a more DIY version.

Would love to try and do it myself but would need to find a step by step image guide to make sure I don't make a mistake in the cabling and all...

I'd just pay someone to do it properly - try MDS in Ballyfermot.

If you want to do it yourself, you'll need to run a fused 12v mem and constant 12v, a negative to the chassis, potentially 12v if you're using a powered antenna, and then two cables to each speaker. You'll also need to make an enclosure for the head unit.

Thanks the advice and for the recommendation in Ballyfermot, will check them out. I might have found someone in Glasnevin 🤞 might be able to learn how to do it so I could do in again in the future ☺️
