I fitted a double dimmer switch some years ago in the kitchen which has a light fitting each end of the room but sadly I cant get the the dimmable bulbs that I would like anymore so I'm going to change back to a non dimmer switch.

There is another double light switch by the back door for an outside light, I wont be touching this of course but it will add extra wiring.

I will try to get photos of the wiring before I disconnect any wires.

It should be straight forward as before…. going back….. shouldn't it?

Pretty sure you can get a dimmer switch for LED bulbs, if that helps. Simpler solution?

    Hi Esel

I think you may have misunderstood my problem, I want to take out the dimmer switch I fitted years ago and replace it with the original 2 gang flick switch. (what are they called)

I want rid of this dimmer in the kitchen, while it worked well I'm now fed up with it. I just need to check the wiring first to make sure what I'm doing before disconnecting any wires.

    I have 6 terminals A B1, B2

    A1,A2, B

Just need to study the existing wiring first before I take the switch off.
