MF 4255 not running smoothly

My MF 4255 tractor also has that banging sound when the four-wheel drive is disengaged on a hard surface. When examining it, we removed the cardan shafts and drove it in two-wheel drive. We noticed that the tractor does not roll smoothly, but sometimes something catches it and there is a rumbling sound from somewhere in the rear axle 😒. When you slowly go down a gentle hill backwards with the front wheels turned and brake, the whole tractor sways for a moment, which it has never done before. Does anyone have experience with something similar or have an idea what is broken?

Sorry for my English but I believe there are many MF experts out there who will surely understand my question and be able to advise me.

    Thanks in advance

I don't know how you pasted that text into your post, but absolutely nobody will read it, because of the horizontal scrolling required.

    Just paste plain text instead.

This is the OP in readable format:

Sounds to me like you have a damaged crown and pinion or a damaged crown and pinion bearing or both.

hard to understand exactly the message. but also have a 4245 and sometimes makes a banging sound when turning with 4wd engaged.. if its the same the the 4wd shaft under the tractor running from the rear to the front axel is damaged.. there is 2 shafts and the collor or shaft splines are damaged and one or both need replacing.. this damage would have resulted from wear in the front axel housing
