Hey, I'm struggling a bit with this.

I've a gaming PC, keyboard, mouse, webcam, headset (3x USB 2, 1x USB 3), ethernet. I use a display port for my monitor which is a 1440 ultrawide.

I have a personal macbook which I use for photo and video and a work Windows machine, which I use for, well work.

In a great world my PC would connect via USB C to that docking station and I could simply unplug it, plug in a laptop and use all the same peripherals. In a perfect world there would be two inputs and a switch.

But it seems this is basically technically impossible without losing lots of video performance, is that correct?
