Dimplex A class heat pump F232/178 error codes

    Anyone with a Dimplex A class heat pump seen error codes F232 and F178?

    Apparently they're serious enough as the heat pump isn't starting, we're relying on the immersion for hot water 😬

    I suppose it's lucky this is happening in summer and not winter

    I've emailed Dimplex customer service directly but just wondering if anyone has experience with these error codes?

    I have apparently fixed it by pulling out some long grass behind the outdoors unit

    The heat pump is running normally for now

    No idea how that fixed it, it isn't like the grass was getting into the fan or anything
