Ce and temporary leave??

    Im currently on a ce scheme from last November and I've just recieved the news my mother has to go for am operation next month.

    my mother would be my childcare and looks after my kids when I'm at "work "...

    She will have to rest for a period of 6 to 8 weeks post surgery..

    I'm wondering where I stand with my ce position? can I leave temporarily and go back? can I claim while I'm off? or once I leave am I penalised?

    I want to go back but I have to leave as I can't get anyone else to provide childcare..
