EIR roaming in Spain

Hi all, I'm with eir mobile since 2022 and I went with Eir (billpay) abroad many times, most of time works very well. However I'm surprised how bad is roaming with Eir in Spain considering this is most likely one of the top 3 european destinations for Irish people travelling abroad and no. 1 summer holiday destination. I'm currently in Madrid and there are several networks operating in Spain (Orange, Vodafone, Movistar, Yoigo), but I can't manually select any other network than Orange and Movistar and only Orange connects also with data to 5G. Movistar I couldn't connect to data roaming. There's also no VoLTE roaming available meaning while you're on call, your phone won't stay in 5G, but connects to old 3G/2G networks. Also I noticed (by people who called me asking me about it) when someone calls, the caller can't hear a ringback tone. Basically for the person dialling my number, they can't hear it's ringing - my phone does ring as usual. It's very unusual and of course I thought Eir would have signed roaming agreements with at least 3 biggest networks here and would have VOLTE long time ago. I tried to call Eir to ask about it, after 3 unsuccessful calls where customer care didn't have a clue, they transferred me to wrong tech support, called again to be 35th in Q, asked to call me back and then care transferred again to technical support only the call to drop after 10 mins wait I gave up calling them anymore. Did anyone else notice the same?? Cheers
