Shower cord

The shower cord (for turning the red light on/off) snapped when it was pulled on too hard. The snapped piece was tied onto the dangling piece, and has been fine during the weeks since but going to order a replacement and looking online it is either showing a cord for switching on a light or shower cord with the box attached (which isn't needed and make it more expensive).

Does anyone have experience with this? Is the cord for the light the same and would all of them be suitable or only particular ones?

Just go for a shower switch cord, no point replacing the switch.

I changed mine a couple of years ago. They're universal I think. I just took mine out and brought it to the local hardware shop and got a similar one.

Oh Ya, Turn off your electricity on your fuse box before you go at it obviously
