A thread for upcoming events that may be of interest to the general public in Cork City and County.

MODS: Remove or amalgamate as you see fit.

As we come into summer, there should be a lot of general interest events popping up.

First up: a visit from a Spanish ship:

Cork is the first port in Ireland to be visited by the Galeón Andalucía on its first ever visit to our the island. And from Thursday, 22nd to the 26 May, she will be welcoming visitors on board from 10am to 8pm. Leesiders can climb the gangplank to this floating museum with exhibitions across its five decks.

Tickets are €14 for adults and €7 for kids - or you can get a family pass for €30, children under 5 go free. There are also guided tours for schools and other groups with discounted rates.

I hope it doesn't crash into any bridges. Apologies for the Beo link!

Just a pity they misspelled their own name on the flyer. Twice.
