My son set up my Tiviar box some years ago and is no longer available to sort out issues

Unfortunately I tinkered with my settings and now have lost my Irish channels.
I now need to know all the reception settings I need to set to get all Irish channels including RTE1 as I think some people used to get all except RTE1

Can anyone help me as main thread on Tiviar box has 104 pages & I wasn't able to find the info I need

This is from the Manual for the box the 104 page thread is about, the Tiviar Alpha Combo.

3.5 Scanning Terrestrial TV Channels. Open the Settings > Installation > Terrestrial Search menu.

There are two signal bars on the lower part of the screen. The signal level bar indicates how strong the signal is, and the signal quality bar indicates how easy it is to pick up. To scan for all available channels, set Search Mode to Auto. Choose Search Type and determine which types of channels to scan for.• All Service: Scan for all available TV and radio channels.

My box is the Tiviar Alpha Combo

What I need is are the settings required on the actual scan.
The Astra satellite scan is complete but I now need to get the Irish channels

I simply am clueless and when you go to manual scan there are various setting you must have and am hoping someone can advise

Does your remote look like this?

If so press the Menu button. Then select

Settings > Installation > Terrestrial Search, Auto.

That will automatically search for all the channels your aerial can receive. You don't need any settings for particular channels.

If you can, change tuner type from DVB-C to DVB-T2. C is for Cable TV, T2 is the aerial channels. And it says Manual Scan at the top of that page. Does your menu have an option for Auto Scan?

This is the Channel Number / Frequency List for the transmitters. Each transmitter has two frequencies, one with RTE 1 and one with RTE 2.
