Are there area that will never gentrify or will repel gentrification

    There was an article in the Irish Times about gentrification last Saturday, and I was in town (Dublin ) at the weekend. Someone was telling me there is a thriving fee-paying Montessori primary school in Dublin 1, so are people buying there, you'd get a Georgian house, but avoiding the local schools.

    There must be something similar in Cork, Galway, and Limerick.
