Extra Long Straps

    Hi all,

Potentially stupid question here, but getting into this watch collecting malarkey and am blessed (cursed?!) with a wrist diameter on the larger end of the scale. I have acquired a Bambino and a Timex Marlin but the strap with both is not quite long enough. Fits with an extra hole punched, but I’d prefer to not be on the very last hole of the strap if possible.

(Honestly upgrading the straps on both probably not a terrible idea anyway.)

My question is what is “extra long”?

Looking at a strap for the Timex on watch.co.uk and it quotes for length:

    Strap Size: XL

    Length of strap at 12 o’clock: 100mm

    Length of strap at 6 o’clock: 120mm

    is that indeed “extra long”?

Appreciate any assistance here to what I presume is kinda staring me in the face!
