Sorry if this has been discussed before. I searched but couldn't find anything.

I got a HKC 10270 installed a few days ago, as well as the WiFi module. I have subbed to the app for the year, (for self-monitoring). The man that installed said that it would be possible to connect a wireless camera to the system and be able to monitor it from the app as well. I have looked online but haven't found much yet. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance,

    T

What he is possibly referring to is installing a CCTV system and then programming the Recorder so that it is virtually connected to your alarm system, via the HKC App.

The tie up works via your own router as such, so it is not per say a camera but a CCTV system with camera / cameras.

The logic here is, if for example you have a camera looking at the back of your house and if your alarm activates from that area, then the App will marry up that camera to that respective alarm zone.
