    Hi All,

I travel through Cork Airport regularly. They have automated boarding announcements for the last while, but I find them inefficient.

The announcement will say something like, “Aer Lingus at gate 3 is boarding”. They don’t mention the destination and the volume tends to be low.

The UK airports like LHR have good automated announcements, why doesn’t Cork mention the destination in the announcements anymore?

Do Aer Lingus regularly have multiple flights In Cork boarding at the same time?

on a serious note, your complaint would be better directed towards the airport operator themselves.

They’re quite poor I agree. Ryanair can sometimes have a flight to Luton and Stansted departing within minutes of each other and I’ve seen some gate mix ups on more than one occasion.
