I half watched the first two episodes but couldn’t even figure out what the tasks involved. I like David Tennant but him appearing on clips is not having the same impact as Claudia has on the Traitors show.

I’m loving the games even though I’m utterly confused by the main game till they nearly have it solved. But it’s the alliances and back stabbing that we’re getting to see rather than the ability to solve the puzzle too and I’m all for it.

I liked Amanfi from the moment he walked in and he hasn’t disappointed me yet. I was shouting at the tv for him solve the puzzle but I get his reasons to stick with the plan and keep himself and Bex safe. Hate Ben but he’s definitely a smart player. His alliance group is now diminished.

I've watched all three episodes so far, and while I'm enjoying the games—and I like David Tennant as a presenter—I feel that the show is missing a spark. It has the potential to be excellent. Amanfi's decision not to solve that puzzle should pay dividends tonight. Ben is starting to make some enemies in the game—he alienated a strong ally in Charlotte last night—so the pressure might be on him tonight.

An absolute masterclass of Indian Poker from Ken. I don't think he had a natural win for the first five hands, which was very unlucky.

Yeah Ken played the long game perfectly and had Bhasha’s play style sussed.

I also like David Tennant but it’s obvious when he shows up on the screen that it’s all pre recorded and he’s not interacting with the players in real time.

I think the original of this show is Korean.

Anyone else still watching this? Enjoyed the last episode. Sets the show up very nicely. Brutal the way the group dealt with Amanfi but he took it very well.

I’m still watching. I dunno who I want to win now that Amanfi has gone but I’ll go with Bex as he liked and trusted her.

I'm in the same camp. I'd be happy to see Ken win also. I hope Charlotte gets knocked out next. I thought her comment about the people who teamed up with Ken last night was poor and unnecessary.

I'm not sure what Indie, Ben, and Charlotte were doing last night during the animal task. They figured out what the other team—the team of four—was doing pretty quickly, but their strategy was never going to work as a team of three.

I started watching the Korean programme The Devil's Plan on Netflix at the same time at this, without realising they were the same thing (more or less). I like getting the insight into Korean society, and the importance they place on a person's age, and how it affects the respect you show. "You were born in '97? So was I…so we should share a room."

That's one of the differences; in The Devil's Plan, they pair up to share bedrooms (but they don't necessarily have alliances with their roommate).

I can't stand Ben in Genius Game. What do people listen to him?!?

I watched The Devil’s Plan last week too and loved it. You’re right about the respect they have whilst at the same time being funny feckers 😂

There’s another Korean show on Netflix called Physical 100 (I highly recommend) and even know the object of the game is to knock all your opponents out they show great respect to each other.
