    Hi,

A fiarly simple one i think but trying to think of a way to move the flooring to bridge the gap. The board on the left as you look at is seems to have moved, or else the previous ownwer touched up the paint. I can't get a grip of the board to pull it and the metal strip under the door prevents me from pulling it out. Any ideas on easiest way?

    Thanks

Lift the threshold strip and that should free up the board, or at least give you better access.

I got it sorted. I had been lifting it up but still coudln't get enouh grip on it. I was trying for a while and then went to the garage to see if i could get inspiration and found a hook tool from a hook and pick tool set and the was able to fit under the door frame and pull it! I did think it was a very basic question but wanted to find something that woudl'nt be much effort and woudln't damage. Little experience with flooring, to fully remove the lentil i'm guessing you'd have to detach it from the carpet, seemed like a bit too much effort!
