Hi folks what Low profile Gpu would you suggest for a lenovo idea centre 5 (Tower).

Bear in mind max Wattage of the Psu is 260w.

Not even for gaming just for a Online 3d program.

(i used to be in know but forgotten all of it with graphics cards nowdays)

It's hard to tell from that image, but I've checked variants of that model, and they don't look like they're low profile and can take full height cards. Could you get some images showing the slots to the left? Or did you mean something else, like a single slot card or a short length card?

echo Spear above - hard to tell from the photo. I setup an RTX A2000 in a Dell SFF recently for my daughter. Initially the Dell PSU blocked it, so I used a PCI riser cable to place the card outside, which was fine if a little McGyver-ish. I later purchased an aftermarket PSU, which was lower profile and with an adapter from aliexpress plugged into the Dell motherboard.

In short there are options !

I have no power lead connector either besides the PCI'e Single slot. so thats why i was asking. its too much trouble now try upgrade the psu just for video card.
This was the video (like the model except for dvd drive) saying low profile & The links he showed under the video but most of them were unavailable now& it just got confusing then Variations

That video is flat out wrong. That GPU he installs is not low profile. He keeps misusing that term. Low profile means it has a reduced height out from the motherboard and a smaller bracket accordingly.

    Check this example:

    https://ms.codes/blogs/computer-hardware/low-profile-vs-high-profile-graphics-card

The GPU he has in the video is small, but not low profile, nor can it take a low profile bracket due to the size of the PCB.

So forget any mention of low profile, it doesn't apply.

What you need then is something that can stay within the 75W or so limit of what power is provided via the PCIe slot given that the PSU lacks a PCIe connector.

Do you know if the intended application needs any specific features, e.g. lots of VRAM or any particular version of DirectX support?

No its just the basic 3d moving around thats it. i was thinking of that alright limit was 75/80 watt. you dont want to burn out the Psu then as well.

What's the name of the application? I'll see if I can find more info on what it uses.
