Hi all so stressed with the decision . Moved to an area 15 mins from the local town where we had our child's name down in the Gaelscoil . He is due to start in Sept .
Gaelscoil he will have pals from preschool / the creche where his sisters will be collect from there but don't do a drop off so extra drop off for me to sort in the mornings .

Obv pro of Gaelscoil is the Irish class size will be 24 and 3 classes so quiet a big infants .750 kids In the school in total . Traffic into the town is bad alright but on the way to work for me for now (1 hour commute ) so I do hope to move jobs but no idea where I'll end up .

Country school will hav 15 kids unsure of how many girls and boys etc, one ishis cousin who he doesn't always get on with . Don't know any other child . Meant to be a lovely country school , active etc .
so torn as the obvious thing is not being involved in the community . I tried to bring him to gaa last week and the boys were all in school together ( he's the youngest going so far) .
my head is telling me Gaelscoil my gut is saying local I'm so so so torn . Losing sleep about it all . Just don't want to make the wrong decision . Any advice or experience js welcome .
