Recently moved into a new build ground floor apartment with a duplex above me who have as well only moved in ( in the process of moving in) while we were fitting light shades up we noticed on some parts of the ceilings there's these marks ? Not sure if it's due to a leak or just bad paint work or something but I'm literally starting to panick as I don't know what they are.. the girl beside me also has the same in hers but hers are a bit worse and there is more.. most of them are along the sides of the ceiling but I'm worried 😟

Looks like water prob from upstairs (very minor). Maybe a minor leak …worth checking out with management company since its newly bought.

Looks like corroded screws used to fix the plaster slab. A stain blocking primer, followed by repainting might provide a satisfactory solution.
