    Hi all,
I am about to do a masters in law - one year, remote, thesis - around 15k words.
I also have an interest in doing a PhD after it.
When mentioning that to my tutor, he said I should chose an area for my MA that would lend itself to use for the PhD, in other words, that I could use the MA work as part of the work for the PhD.
Has anyone had an experience of doing both the MA and PhD? Does this advice make sense?
Finally, any ideas for an area that would be suitable for research?
    Thanks in advance 🙏
