    Trailer on YouTube:

JLH has been talking about this in interviews for a while now, so it's not such a surprise..!

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Is this a remake? Kinda sad as I am sure there is already a film with this name out. Could they not be original and do something new and different.

It's not a remake. Some of the same actors are in this as was in the original - FPJ and JLH. It seems it is a continuation - at some point in the future from what the original movies were set in. I'm sure the story is just a rehash of the original.

There was an amazon series which was a remake. Or rather another adaptation of the novel, which i didn't know existed.

It's a bit confusing. Why does it have the exact same title as the original if it's a different storyline?

Scream 5 did the same so probably better than a subheading.

I Know What You Did Last Summer Part 76

    Spoiler:

They still know what happened last summer.

Could they not be original and do something new and different.

There seems to be a real shortage of creativity in Hollywood of late.

Like Jurassic World Rebirth. They have the technology to create believable looking Dinosaurs on screen. You would think that would be all that is needed for a series of new stories, but instead they just keep rehashing one or two original stories.

I guess the third film was a remake, though I never watched it

I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer

Just a direct to DVD movie with none of the original cast and supposedly not good.

A direct to DVD with none of the original cast that was not so good? Wow, who'd have thunk that could ever be the case?

I only found out it existed from the "DeadMeat" youtube channel!

I saw today in a pretty empty screening....I wouldn't bother.

The best I could say is it is competently enough made and some fun scenes with people from the first film. The acting is er variable. The killer/killers motivation makes very little sense TBH.

There is a level of laziness involved where there is no attempt to subvert basic horror tropes, just blindly following the playbook.

But it's a fun movie, some good dialogue (even if it's very gen z based) the kills are fun but not ridiculous, there's at least 3 characters that need fleshing out and yeah, there's a slight stretch in the end.

Watch it if you liked the original, but probably at home, unless you have big windows.
