What is the most up to date A-I research tool? (beyond chat gtp?)

I'm looking to use A-I to cut down on time having to browse through material as a means to find relevant citations.

Chat gtp is good for this, but I know other company initiatives have released their own versions.

Is there any form of this tool that's considered to be the most up to date or advance, at the moment?

From what I've seen Chat GPT responses are phrased more conservatively, less likely to mislead the inquirer?

That just makes ChatGPT's hallucinations look more plausible. It doesn't make them any more correct and, arguable, it's a disadvantage because it makes them harder to detect.

There seems to be significant scepticism in A-I capability and certainly accuracy.

I think it's fantastic for some things but some of the results and info I've got for others is almost worrisome.
