Hi, I live close to Tallaght and am considering getting involved in paracycling. I have an underlying condition that seems to fit the criteria for it. Does anyone know what clubs do it, or even how to get involved? Don't really know where to start.

    Thanks.

cycling ireland have a list of clubs which support paracycling - though to what extent, i suspect you'd need to contact the clubs individually.

    https://www.cyclingireland.ie/cycling/paracycling/paracycling-clubs/

Clondalkin CC are listed there, so won't be a million miles from you.

Suppose it also depends on what you mean by Paracycling, do you mean fitting the criteria for competition but you just want to go out for weekend spins or do you mean that you would like ot get involved in competition?

Spin The Bean would be one if you want to go down the competitive route, but as MB points out, a closer club would probably be better. Clondalkin are part of the Dublin ICL so would also have the entry into starting competitive races in a more controlled environment than open races.

Thanks. It would be primarily for weekend spins, that would potentially graduate into something a bit more competitive.

I'll check them out. Thanks again.

In that case, most clubs are probably quite accommodating and have groups at various levels but I would preference ones that have specified it as it means they have undoubtedly had prior or current members into paracycling so more knowledgable if you need advice or guidance.
