Constant Dust Issue

Hi all,

I've recently moved into an apartment in the Dublin 15 area and have been dealing with a frustrating issue: the place keeps filling up with grey, fibrous dust. It almost looks like insulation dust – very fine and seems to settle on everything within a day or two of cleaning.

Despite regular cleaning (every couple of days), the dust keeps returning. I've asked around and no one seems to have a clear idea of what it might be or where it's coming from.

In my case, it turned out to be coming from the ventilation system. The filters were either missing or completely clogged, so it blew dusty air into the flat nonstop. It might be worth checking if your place has any vents, extractor fans, or even an old HVAC unit that needs a deep clean or filter change.
