Father reckons topping it now will cut grass and set back the grass. My inclination is to top it by the weekend while it is so dry and spread some fertiliser early next week. The place we have is completely overrun with rushes. I would then hope to lick the place in 5 weeks
His approach is to fertiliser it, graze it and tackle the rushed in June or July
Who is right here. I would happily take the hit on some grass if we could get the rushes under control.
