When a garda finds out that a wanted person has fled to a certain country. What are the steps they need to take in the extradition process from start to finish?
I'm wandering this as recently. A guy in my hometown was arrested by gardai for historic offenses while home for a family funeral. The garda told the court that she had begun the process of extraditing him from the country in which he now lived. But what does that process look like step by step?

Depends on what that country is. There are different processes for recovering peoiple from EU and non-EU countries.
