I have pvc windows fitted about 20 years ago. Those windows are a brown woograin effect colour and the wrapping is now peeling off in spots mainly on the the strips that keep the glass units in place.I was was wondering if there is any way of repairing this or if there is anyone specialising in this kind of work. There was a company in Cork doing it but I see from their website that they dont do that type of repair anymore.Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can buy the foil to repair them yourself - there are videos on youtube showing how to do it. I saw a house a while back where all the south-facing windows had peeled, and they removed it all, cleaned off the adhesive, and then painted the frames brown. Looked pretty good, and you'd have been hard-pressed to notice any difference standing in front of the house.
