Hi there. Has anyone reserved in Grange Oaks new development? Do you reckon they will be on time for July to close and give keys? What do you think of the infrastructure?

    Cheers!

Hi there, we reserved a house there but ended up cancelling because we felt the kitchen/dining area was too small to also have a living space or play area for kids. That said, the houses look lovely and bright! The area has a lot going for it—the new road to Carrickmines Park, the L26 to the Luas, beautiful surroundings, and another hourly bus to the city. The only thing is there's no major grocery store nearby; the nearest one is the Dunnes in Leopardstown valley. I'm not sure about the July timeline, but hopefully, the houses at the front seem like they could be finished on time. The agent told me the first snag would be end of June or early July.

The last time I spoke to the sales agent is that snagging is end of July. Lovely houses. More shops will be opened once Kilternan village is released. Of course, it’s not perfect but we will make it a beautiful home.

There are shops going in the Kilternan village development opposite the blue church. They are probably a year or two off.

After all the laudatory reviews, I'm surprised to hear nothing about the actual location... Nevermind it being right in the epicentre of radon area…

But you can see the preserved graveyard less than 40 yards from the first-row houses overlooking the main road

From what I saw, it seems to be in direct view from both the first and second-floor rooms.

Is this acceptable, and how likely is it to affect the property's value when selling?
