The 310 is also meant to be tendered in April but with the new routes will this go ahead?

It will be rolled out over the course of the next two years according to a recent council update to the Metropolitan area meeting.

I see the 310 has gotten ex London Enviro 400s that DC have purchased from Callinans. Odd that they'd put new buses albeit it secondhand on routes their likely going to lose and even if DC were to win the tender the NTA will probably want their buses operating on it.

Probably had no choice. Knowing their buses what was on the route before may have become totally unusable.

Just heard Conor Sheehan on the news saying the NTA have told him it will be 2027 before rollout.

He also called out the shtty Dublin Coach vehicles.

I meant Dublin Coach who run the 310 with it's clapped out old former airport and London buses.

It'll be 2027 before the full rollout. It will be rolled out in stages between now and then as BE get the drivers, mechanics and buses they need for the expansion of services.

Wonder if the 310 will switch to BE in April if they win the tender but who knows

Their contract was extended until October 2025. Tender process for operator from October ongoing apparently.

Hopefully BÉ are in a position to bid for it as Dublin Coach is not fit for purpose.

I've only used the 301 a few times but it's always came on time +/-2min unlike BÉ so I don't know what people are complaining about

Admittedly there's no financial reason to use them if travelling Raheen-UL as you'd be paying twice
