Contractor Question (Not sure if correct forum)

    Hi,

    I had recently a contractor for Eir put in a new pole for one blown down in the last storm.

    They arrived with a lorry and mini digger.

    When I got home I checked what was done and they had broken a shrub on my verge, drove over 3 Rhubarb plants that are now well set back at least 2 years, drove over potted plants on a tray I had left in front of the polytunnel and dug up grassy area with lorry/trailer and not even level it again.

    I looked up contractor and rang him, he said send on pictures - heard nothing back and I text again today and still nothing back.

    Is there something I can to do to get compensated, I'm extremely angry that someone can just come onto a property and drive a digger over stuff growing and that is supposed to be food.
