Hey guys.

I'm using an ASUS PN50 as a small home VMHost. Swapping it out of its old, as built by ASUS, case into an Akasa Turing MK2 case. Following a video online I've gotten to the clean the old thermal paste off the CPU bit, but the video doesn't remove the orange/brown sticker that's on the other part of the CPU. Where you can clearly see old thermal paste. Should I be removing this to clean it all off?

It's best to not touch that, there are very delicate components under that plastic cover and the paste that seeped under it doesn't do any harm.

Cheers @Cordell , went ahead and did it without removing the plastic.

VM-Host is now running silent with an average drop of 15 - 25 degrees on internals. :)
