Planning a power flush shortly and looking for a reccomendation on a filter. Wondering what proportion of debris is non magnetic and would be better filtered via a mesh rather than the majority of filters which appear to be magnet based.

I'm deciding between the adey magnaclean professional 3 (has remote monitoring which is nice) vs caleffi dirtmag which has external magnetic and a separate particles mesh filter.

    2nd question

Would you risk powerflushing boiler heater exchanger directly or isolate completely and just flust through the circuit?

Boiler is probably 20-30yrs old gasoil

    Thanks
