Centrefire Range Cork

Hi All

So I should hopefully be collecting my .270 sometime soon (assuming the super plays ball).

I'd like to pick up a few boxes of cheap ammo and run like 50/60 rounds through it just to really get the feel for the trigger before I take it out in the field. Can't exactly do that on a random farm though.

Does anyone know somewhere in (or reasonably close to) Cork I can do this without having to pay a daft amount for a membership fee? Info about ranges can be pretty hard to find.

Legally here ranges are not allowed to do day memberships as is common in every other country, hence the yearly membership fee.

You might call some ranges from the list here and see who could accommodate you zeroing your gun:

Do bear in mind if you want to shoot on a range beyond 300 yards that limits you to Midlands in Offaly, whicj is the only one you can shoot from 300 - 1000.
