Looks like I will need a buggy to get around as my breathing and health has been struggling. I don't really want to quit walking altogether, but the hills are killing me and I'm shot through after 12 holes these days. I have been looking at the https://xtrider.com/ , as it can be used as ride on and walk along….. anyone ever seen or used one?

    any other recommendations?

    Does your club offer buggies?
My place offers a reduced rate on buggy hire if you can provide a doctor's note.

Might be able to split the cost too with someone in your group

Buggies are €25 for members and that's the reduced rate. I play twice a week minimum so needless to say the math's don't work in favour of hiring (plus I want to keep walking as much as possible, hence the xtrider idea/query). My two regular partners are fit and healthy walkers and I end up slowing them down at times.

There are lots of new skateboard type buggies coming out these days with strong lithium batteries, but they are not out in enough numbers to get any decent independent reviews. I have seen a few grasshopper carts around and the reviews seem good.

I am surprised no one has come up with a wide wheeled tri-cycle push bike that can carry your clubs…. eco friendly and keeps you fit while taking the stress off walking.
