I've been banned from the current affairs forum because I ignored mod instructions and posted an anecdote in the Immigration to Ireland thread.

Firstly the anecdote was hardly outrageous and laying blame on anyone or any group.

I don't have time to be reading every mod instruction , as long a posts aren't potentially libelous or totally off topic then moderators should stay out of it.

The fact that you can't use anecdotes while discussing a social issue in Ireland is quite frankly ridiculous, we live in Ireland people should be able to post examples of how policies impact day to day life for them.

This ridiculous over modding to shut down discussion and stifle debate of serious issues is a load of nonsense, it's just going to push more people away and onto twitter, where you can discuss whatever you want without having to live by ridiculous rules.

The ban and similar types of interference from moderators is ridiculous.
