I had to pay a RFD to "store" my gun while the renewal comes back. How much is the usual price for this?

    Varies wildly.

    5 a week, 20 a week, 50 a month, 20 a month, 35 a week, etc.

If it is high then it's usually a dealer who doesn't want to store customer's guns, and the price reflects that.

No issue with that, but it does happen and can be the reason for some quite high prices.

Never forget, the end goal is zero firearms of any type.

How long is a piece of string? As a ballpark expect it to be over 80 Euros per 6 months or per annum ,as too many people were dumping their guns into dealers and getting charged less than the 80 euros for the liscense over a 3 year period.End result was dealers ended up storing a lot of junk guns that were scrap value and couldn't even be sold once the owners had signed off on them and not renewed the liscenses.

Funny I was talking to a RFD yesterday who told me a dealer down the country told him, he was making more money from storing firearms than selling them.
