X Login Problems

Hope I'm in the right area. For a fortnight I've had the following X login problem on my Android phone.

My username and password are accepted but I loop back to the X login page.

I've cleared storage and the cache, and uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times.

Next step was X Support. I've emailed about the problem a few times and just received a useless generic email. I'm not blocked as I can log in on a PC and others see my account.

Naturally the phone is the most convenient way to log in to X. Any help greatly appreciated.

P.s. I even tried setting up a new twitter account on the phone but the same loop to the login problem!
