Two birds for identification

    I wonder could anyone confirm identity of these two birds

    I think the first might be a Wheatear, but not sure of the species and the second might be a tern, but again not too sure of the species

    That's a great picture of a Wheatear. I usually only see them flying away from me up in the hills.

    Thanks for identifications.

    I had never heard of the Sandwich tern ( I have heard of the Artic and common tern) . There were along the west coast.

    I had never seen, or at least noticed, the Wheatear before. It was sitting on a rock near the shore and didn't seem too bothered by my presence. It was still sitting on the same rock as I walked away after taking a couple of photographs
