Having a dispute with a company based in the Netherlands for about €1,500. It essentially boils down to a slightly technical issue.

I've exhausted every avenue with the company. So I'm considering filing a small claims court application?

Has anyone any experience with this? How did it go for you?

I'm confident that if all the facts were understood, I'd win. But I'm a little worried that whoever judges the case will just be relying on our words, and see it as "Random person who doesn't know what they're talking about" Vs "Professional Company who specialist in this". If I lose, can I be forced to pay all their lawyer's bills? How does it work?

    Yes. It was ponderously slow.

You don't become liable for their costs if you lose. Lots of companies just give in even if they were being ridiculously bullish, which is what happened in my case

Thanks. What kinds of evidence did you need to provide?
