Two of the decent things that came out of the FEC IIRC were:
10 round 22 pistol mags, which the DoJ and AGS didn't object to,
Regulating air guns less stringently than they currently are(which makes sense since legally there is no difference to them and a 308 currently).


Two things which would be extraordinary to get:
A concrete definition of "practical shooting", so we could actually have some rules to work around rather than complete guesswork and the whims of each Superintendent and what they consider to be "combat training".

One on one off(like for like subs) done at the dealer level. IE you have a licence for a non restricted shotgun, you bring it into a dealers, spot another non restricted shotgun you'd like, sell yours to the dealer, buy the new one, dealer makes a note on his system, you walk out with your new shotgun and you get a new licence in the post like after you have paid your grant letter.
Dealer's system could update PULSE and notify the FO or whoever and everyone's happy(us for easier purchasing/swapping, dealers for more throughput, AGS because they have less paperwork to deal with and everything is still licenced, tracked, etc).

Lets keep the powder dry until we see what they are actually proposing,otherwise it will be equivilent of a man yelling something at you from a passing train and will be a waste of effort.Translated and boiled down that article is just saying " I ,the minister for Justice and the minister of State will be looking at this ,sometime in the year…if at that."

We know it is on the radar now,but as to where its going and the speed and intented target[s] is another thing.So yeah,uncover,track and warm up the missile battery,but we are awhile from launching them yet.
