Hey all, I asked here a while back about people's experience with a thermal spotter. Now I had to put getting it on the back foot dew to unforeseen circumstances.

So I'm going this week to get one.

I had my heart set on the pulsar telos lrf XP50 18mK.

But someone mentioned to me the Pixfra arc a635 lrf. Has anyone any knowledge about these spotters.

Just under 2K, so considerably cheaper that what I was going for. The lad was raving about them, said they were very good. Also mentioned pixfra is a sister company of pulsar so that's a bonus I suppose.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

better off going to an open night or a show and trying them for real in your hand first, one guys referral will be another's put down, easy for others to say which is good or bad when it isnt their 2k coming out of their pocket, but whatever you choose, spend the extra and get the next grade model above what youre looking for,itd be better spent than looking through something knowing you had a chance to go up a step

Sorry, not what you asked, as i have no experience with telos and never heard of Pixfra before your post. But as said above, looking through them is your best bet if possible.

For 2k+ I'd be looking at low NETD/MK levels. Good screen resolution and see what hybrid (Thermal + NV + Range finder) are out there.

Take a look at the nocpix vista h35r as well.

I just upgraded to one and I'm very happy with it.

The new firmware update allows you to store ballistic data for up to 5 rifles so when you range

something it gives you the elevation adjustments in moa and mils

pixfra are a Chinese company. The only connection with pulsar is that they are both distributed by Thomas Jack's in the UK.

They also make thermal devices for others like ATN.
