I've only started to get out again after a 3 plus years of recovery from a heart attack. Lost a lot of weight, mostly muscle, and just don't have the same stamina anymore.

Pleased to have a good friend along to help out and keep an eye on me. He grassed this nice Fallow at about 80m.

    Sako 75 .308 and a Tika .243

    Nice one Clive!

What stock is that on the 75? Is it like a finnlight?

To be honest I don't know. The rifle is the Sako 75 stainless, with heavy fluted barrel , that came with the nutmeg laminated stock and has the set trigger. But the dealer had sold the original stock on, and put that Sako composite stock on.

I managed to get the Sako nutmeg stock for the rifle off Ebay after buying the 75 a year later for £100. I pillor bedded the stock. It's a very accurate rifle that has shot groups of 28mm at 200y.

Yeah, I saw your post on bedding the stock, tasty work sir.

I've a 75 in wooden stock which is very accurate, but I was looking to get a lighter stock for it and there don't seem to be many options.

I've an 85 that came with a mcmillan and the original finnlight stock. The finnlight is just sitting there, so i chanced it on the 75, but won't fit.
